Book Activities

Books play an important role in individuals’ lives and this can be seen at every step. Those who like reading or those who enjoy story telling can participate in the various book related events that take place in a library. The library is the perfect place to promote books, to introduce new ideas or to get one’s favorite author sign one’s favorite book. Book tours, as they are called, are often organized in libraries because there is no better place to make one’s book known to the large public than the library itself. At these events, the author presents his story, the ideas behind the characters and may even answer to questions coming from the readers and related to the life of the characters or the story itself. Most of these events end in a part that most readers look forward to and that is the moment in which they can get their books signed.
